Mr. Gould is presently semi retired after a forty-year practice representing large and small business owners in administrative policy and responsibility and all aspects of contracts. Mr. Gould remains active in advising start-up and established companies, assisting in corporate and LLC formations, and drafting and reviewing contracts for licensed professionals. Mr. Gould also provides pro bono defense for veterans before the Veterans Appeals Board. Mr. Gould is an accomplished wildlife photographer.

For over twenty years, Mr. Hahn has been guiding and advising licensed professionals and residential care facility operators in every facet of their professional practice. Through his experience, judgment and skill as a negotiator, he has a winning track record of efficiently and successfully obtaining the absolute best results for each client. His experience with the various State agencies keeps him familiar with the current internal management of these agencies, as well as with the attorneys who represent them. In this way, Mr. Hahn is able to provide insight into the particular concerns of each Board, and help design results for each client as personally satisfying as possible. His services range from assisting with responses to investigations and staff generated complaints, providing regulatory compliance advice, defending Accusations, assisting with sales and leases of businesses, and corporate and LLC formation. Mr. Hahn spent thirteen years prior to becoming an attorney as a teacher and administrator for special education services in California. This experience as a public service employee and administrator along with his experience as a mental health hearing officer provides a unique foundation of practical first hand experience with government agencies and the administrative disciplinary process. Mr. Hahn is a frequent presenter at California State professional conferences and an active member of the California Assisted Living Association (CALA).
Associate Attorney
Ms. Mignea has been working with the Law Offices of Gould & Hahn since 2014 and became an associate attorney at the firm in March of 2015. Among her many duties at the firm, Ms. Mignea provides clients with regulatory compliance advice and defends licensees against Accusations and other disciplinary actions. Due to her background working with Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Ms. Mignea has been able to use her knowledge at Gould & Hahn to represent and advise employers facing audits from the Department of Labor and wage claims from current and former employees. In her time at the Law Offices of Gould & Hahn Ms. Mignea has also successfully defended the licenses of pharmacists, real estate brokers, contractors, and respiratory technicians from revocation.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Gould & Hahn, Ms. Mignea worked at a civil litigation firm in San Jose where she expanded her experience in the areas of Employment, Consumer, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Landlord Tenant Law. Ms. Mignea also honed her trial preparation and appearance skills, and served as second chair in a Business Litigation trial.
In 2012 Ms. Mignea was awarded a fellowship at the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center where she had the opportunity to work as co-counsel with attorneys from the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Immediately after passing the California State Bar, Ms. Mignea conducted a trial providing her with valuable litigation experience early in her career. Additionally, she successfully conducted settlement negotiations in Labor Commission claims and appeals cases during her time as a fellow.
