I am Harvard-educated attorney, a mother, and an activist for women and minorities in the workforce. While I enthusiastically represent all employees who have suffered from discrimination, retaliation, or injustice, I spend most of my practice helping working parents fight for a more equitable economy--by demanding equal wages, by standing up to workplace sexual and racial harassment, and by speaking out against pregnancy, gender, race, and parental status discrimination. In many workplaces, including some of the law firms I worked at, the deck is stacked against even the most hardworking, talented, and thick-skinned workers. We run up against explicit and implicit bias and hostility on a daily basis. Women and minorities have been fighting for workplace equality for decades, but the workplace still falls short. We're still paid less, given fewer promotions, and required to put up with lewd comments, propositions, and even assault--all just to make a living in the field of our choice, the same right more privileged members of our communities have enjoyed for centuries.I encourage people to speak up against these abuses because they create inequalities that ripple throughout our communities. They hurt our children, our families, and our neighborhoods. To me, the civil justice system is not just a way to make a paycheck. I believe in the dignity of work and the fight we all muster up to make an honest living. I also know that harassment, discrimination, and retaliation will only stop when it hits them where it hurts: their bottom line. By seeking civil settlements and judgments, we force companies to speak a language they understand. These situations are hard. They keep you up at night and threaten the things that are most important to you. That's why I always do my best to treat my clients with empathy and strive to understand their personal situations. You deserve no less.  Our firm provides free case reviews, no strings attached. We'd love to hear your story and learn more about how we can help.
