Before my legal career, I taught History at the Middle School and Upper School levels in Brooklyn, New York, and the Brentwood School of Los Angeles. During my teaching career, I coached football, wrestling, and debate.
I believe in being an active member of the community. I was a Board member of both the Shasta Coalition for Community Health, Education, and Empowerment as well as the University Prep Charter School in Redding, California. I served as a Guest Lecturer at Shasta College and a Mock Trial Coach for the Anderson New Tech High School in Anderson, CA.
On the fun side, I maintained a part-time career in Professional Wrestling from 1983 until 2006. Known by my own name and as the original Gemini Kid. I was inducted into the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2011, under my most famous moniker, "The Son of A Preacher Man, Ebony Blade". I continue to serve as a consultant and Chief Legal Officer for various independent promotions.
